Getting paid

  • Escrow on accept. The candidate's credits are reserved the moment you say yes.
  • Withdrawable after 7 days. That is the window for a card dispute, and we would rather hold than take money back after paying you.
  • $25 minimum payout. Request it from your dashboard whenever you clear it.
  • UPI or bank transfer, sent by hand. Allow a few business days. No instant automated payout.

When a session falls apart

  • Late cancels pay you. Inside 12 hours, half the session price is yours.
  • Ghosting still pays. The booking auto-completes 24 hours after the scheduled end.
  • No-show reports are time-boxed. A candidate can only report one during the session itself, reports are rate-limited, and abuse gets reviewed. If one lands on you wrongly, reply to hello@mockif.com.

You keep 85% of whatever you charge and MockIF takes 15%. At typical pricing of 15 to 30 credits for a 45 to 60 minute session, that is about $19 to $38 in your pocket per session. You can price anywhere from 10 to 100 credits. We will not quote a monthly total, because that depends entirely on how many sessions you accept and the marketplace is still young.
Your share lands in your earnings wallet when the session completes and becomes withdrawable 7 days later. That week covers the window in which the card payment behind those credits can still be disputed, so we hold rather than take money back after paying you. Once your withdrawable balance reaches $25, request a payout and choose UPI or bank transfer. A person processes it by hand, so allow a few business days.

The booking auto-completes 24 hours after the scheduled end time and your earning is written as usual, so you are paid for the time you held. If the candidate cancels within 12 hours instead, half the session price goes to you. And a candidate can only report a no-show against you during the session window itself, not afterwards. Those reports are rate-limited and abuse is reviewed, so if one lands on you wrongly, reply to hello@mockif.com and we will sort it out.
